The University of Waterloo Accounting Conference strives for excellence in helping undergraduate students launch their careers in the Accounting industry with our conference and events.
With the continuation of the pandemic, we brought unique opportunities to undergraduate students in a virtual setting by delivering valuable experiences through online events, workshops, and of course, our annual UWAC conference.
UWAC Launch 2021
Our keynote speaker for UWAC 2021 Launch is Dillon Mendes (@dillon_mendes) who is an alumnus of Top 35 under 35 global changemaker awards, co-founder of the social enterprise, PickWaste (@pickwaste), and a TEDx & youth speaker. On top of all of this, he has completed two co-op terms at Deloitte as a Risk Advisory Analyst and finished an internship at DarwinAI.

UWAC 2021 Conference
For the 16th annual case conference, UWAC held its 2nd virtual conference, gathering students from over seven different universities across Canada. This year’s conference featured an accounting and strategy case competition, interactive workshops, networking opportunities, and numerous prizes!
