Daivik Doshi
Co-Chairperson
 |
3rd Year
Mathematics and Chartered Accountancy
Through his myriad of experiences on the UWAC 2009 and UWAC 2010 teams, Daivik had a chance to learn a lot about himself, build strong friendships, and help develop two conferences which were rewarding for delegates, and coordinators alike. This is why when it arose, he jumped to take the opportunity to join the subsequent UWAC 2011 team. He has been interested in the field of accounting and finance since 2006 and hopes to pursue the CA designation after graduation. Daivik hopes to use his previous experiences with UWAC and other planning committees, to help lead the conference’s continued expansion, and work with the whole team to create an unparalleled conference experience. In his spare time, Daivik enjoys playing sports, graphic/website design, rock and urban climbing, and exploring new places. |
George Nicholas Tsai

George (Nicholas) is a 3rd year student from Vancouver. On his spare time, he likes to participate in ultimate frisbee and tennis. He also has a passion for music, playing the piano and guitar and taking the time to sing whenever possible.
As a delegate for UWAC 2009, George had the opportunity to meet enthusiastic individuals studying Accounting across the country while learning more about the field. In 2010, he was an Executive Coordinator for the conference. Having enjoyed his experience with UWAC to date, George is excited to be returning as a Co-Chairperson for the 2011 conference! |
Angela Li

 |

Angela is very excited to be a part of the UWAC 2011 team again this year! Being a coordinator for UWAC 2010, she had an amazing time working with the team and really learned a lot over the ten months they took to plan the conference. Now, as a Managing Director, she hopes to help build another close-knit team and lead UWAC 2011 to new heights. During her spare time, Angela loves trying out new foods, playing ultimate Frisbee, eating dark chocolate, and playing the piano. After she graduates, Angela plans on going travelling outside of Canada and visit family in Malaysia. This year, as she enters her third year in the AFM program, she hopes to experience many new things that will better herself as a person and a leader. |
Corina Lim
Managing Director
 |
3rd Year
Mathematics and Chartered Accountancy
Having learned immensely from her time as both a First-Year Coordinator for UWAC 2009 and an Executive Coordinator for UWAC 2010, Corina aspires to transfer the skills she has obtained and developed to making this year’s conference as big an achievement as previous years. The life-long friendships to be formed and the additional lessons to be learned are incentive enough to return for another year of UWAC without a single regret. As Marva Collins once said, “Success doesn’t come to you … you go to it.” Having witnessed the successes that were both UWAC 2009 and UWAC 2010, this is an adage Corina strongly believes in. Hence, she is prepared to go the distance, to take action and to move towards the success that she anticipates UWAC 2011 to be. A bubby, cheerful individual from Ottawa, Corina reads voraciously in her spare time, loves to sing in the shower and has a passion for fashion. |
