Meet Jenny Ho, UWAC 2010 First Year Coordinator

For UWAC 2010, Jenny had an opportunity to take on many different responsibilities through her role as a first year coordinator. In the fall term, Jenny helped to film and design the video used for marketing the conference to potential delegates. She also had the opportunity to research and contact many potential sponsors, and successfully attracted many new sponsors to the conference. Throughout the year, Jenny took a lead on planning the interactive workshop presented on the Saturday afternoon of the conference. Working closely with her Executive Coordinator mentor, Jenny helped to develop, design, and execute an enjoyable workshop that provided development opportunities for the delegates and sponsors.
Meet Jeffrey Mo, UWAC 2010 First Year Coordinator

As a creative thinker and a hard worker, Jeffrey was involved with many parts of the UWAC 2010 conference throughout the 8 months of planning. In the fall term, Jeffrey took a lead position for the Launch Party event - an event designed to promote the conference to First Years at UW. Working in a small team along with his Executive mentor and other coordinators, he had a chance to contact sponsors, develop interactive activities for attendees, and plan the specific logistics for the event. Executing the Launch Party was just the cherry on top of the efforts of the Launch Party team. Jeffrey also had a chance to take a leadership role in the execution of the case competition during the conference. Learning the actual case document thoroughly and developing the detailed logistical plan for executing the various rounds of the case was a new experience for him. However, it also provided him a great learning opportunity and helped him to develop his organizational and leadership skills.
