Being a delegate for UWAC 2009, she was thoroughly impressed with the calibre of the conference and wished to be a part of the organizing team herself. Other than getting involved within her school community, Angela enjoys reading, trying out new foods and sports, eating chocolate, and playing the piano. Angela dreams of travelling after she graduates! She wants to go shopping in Hong Kong, tour Europe, and visit family in Malaysia. This year, as she enters her second year in the AFM program, she hopes to experience many new things that will better herself as a person and a leader. |
Corina Lim
Executive Coordinator
 |
2nd Year
Mathematics and Chartered Accountancy
Having learned immensely from her time as a First-Year Coordinator for UWAC 2009, Corina aspires to transfer the skills she has obtained and developed to making this year’s conference as big an achievement as previous years. The life-long friendships to be formed and the additional lessons to be learned are incentive enough to return for another year of UWAC without a single regret. As Marva Collins once said, “Success doesn’t come to you … you go to it.” Having witnessed the success that was UWAC 2009, this is an adage Corina strongly believes in. Hence, she is prepared to go the distance, to take action and to move towards the success that she anticipates UWAC 2010 to be. A bubby, cheerful individual from Ottawa, Corina reads voraciously in her spare time, loves to sing in the shower and has a passion for fashion. |
George Nicholas Tsai
Executive Coordinator
 |
2nd Year
Mathematics and Chartered Accountancy
George (Nicholas) is a 2nd year student coming all the way from Vancouver. Since arriving in Waterloo, he has taken an active role in various Accounting and Finance organizations, always looking to meet new people while making a positive contribution to the student body. On his spare time, he likes to participate in ultimate frisbee and in other sports, and plays the piano or strums on the guitar whenever possible. In addition, George enjoys watching football and basketball (but is too unathletic and uncoordinated to play either of these sports!). One of George’s favourite things to do is to sing, especially in public (or in the shower).
As a delegate for UWAC 2009, George had the opportunity to meet enthusiastic individuals studying Accounting across the country while learning more about the field. This year, he is excited to be a part of the UWAC team and to help organize an outstanding conference for 2010! |
Alice Tsang

Upon transferring into the accounting program from the arts faculty, she has never been happier being part of a smaller class and a tight-knit community of students who also share the same aspirations as her. As a happy-go-lucky individual who loves to laugh, she hopes to bring you a fun filled conference and for everyone to take away with them breathtaking memories and long lasting friendships. Aside from school, she loves to experiment with dessert recipes from all around the world. |

From this understanding, Suneethi looks forward to creating a conference that will allow delegates to gain valuable insights into the accounting profession and the world of opportunities that an accounting designation can open. During her spare time, Suneethi loves nothing more than curl up with a blanket on the couch and read her way through a gripping mystery novel or watch a movie. A cheerful and social individual who enjoys the company of others, Suneethi is also an avid hockey fan who enjoys cheering for the Toronto Maple Leafs. |
